Telangiectasia removal

Telangiectases, also known as spider veins, are small dilated blood vessels that can occur near the surface of the skin or mucous membranes. These dilated blood vessels can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face around the nose, cheeks and chin.

A fine needle is used to isolate each vein or capillary, to cut off the blood flow so that it is no longer visible through the skin.

Campbell de Morgans/ Blood spot removal

Campbell de Morgan spots, also known as Cherry Angiomas or Blood Spots are harmless vascular proliferations of the skin. They appear as bright red spots found mainly on the trunk of the body but also on the face and limbs. Campbell de Morgan spots are found in individuals of any race or ethnic background and increase with age.

Spider Naevi Removal

Spider Naevi may also be known by several other names, such as a Spider Veins, Spider Angioma, Nevus Araneus, and Vascular Spiders.

A Spider Naevus is a collection of small, dilated blood vessels, clustered very close to the surface of the skin. The cluster of vessels is web-like, with a central spot and radiating vessels.

Spider naevi can be caused by injuries, sun exposure, hormonal changes, or liver disease, but often the cause is unknown. For most people, the naevi are not a medical concern. In some cases, they cause discomfort. The vessel clusters can be successfully treated or removed by using a short wave diathermy method.

Thread veins removal

Broken blood vessels or Thread Veins on the face are enlarged blood vessels that occur just beneath the surface of the skin. Thread Veins or Spider Veins are commonly found on the face or legs, though they may appear anywhere on the body.

Broken blood vessels on the face can develop in anyone at any age, but some people may have a higher chance of developing them than others.

Some causes of broken blood vessels on the face include genes, sun exposure, changes in weather, changes in pressure, pregnancy, environmental irritants, rosacea, alcohol consumption, injuries.

A very fine needle is used to isolate each vein or capillary, to cut off the blood flow so that it is no longer visible through the skin.

Skin tags removal

Skin tags are small flesh-coloured or brown growths that hang off the skin and look a bit like warts. They are very common and harmless.

Skin tags are usually a few millimeters in size, although some can be as big as 5cm.

They are commonly found on the neck, in the armpits, around the groin or under the breasts. Sometimes they grow on the eyelids or under the folds of the buttocks.

Skin tag removal is a straight forward procedure where we cauterise the skin tags using short waves diathermy current. The results are instant.  Small crusts will  appear on the area treated after a day or two and will fall off naturally. It is important not to remove these crusts as they form as part of the skin’s natural healing process.

Milia removal

Milia are small, bump-like cysts found under the skin. Milia cysts are very easy to treat.  The current is dispersed into the fatty tissue, allowing it to break down.

Hairy moles treatment

Hair from the mole would be treated using electrolysis hair removal method.
